“I was struggling to find a unique present for my fiancé as a wedding gift, but when I heard about the Grin and Bare It sessions, I was really excited! A friend and I made the day of it and went to Gaynor’s studio where I had one of the funniest afternoons of my life. The results were breath-taking, I never knew I could look as good or feel as relaxed in front of the camera as Gaynor made me feel. I can’t wait to see my husband-to-be’s face when he opens his present on our wedding day!”


Dawn, also had an album as a present for her new husband, said: "I was a bit nervous at first but Gaynor put me at ease straight away and I soon relaxed and actually started to enjoy the experience. I was really happy with the pictures and my husband was delighted when I showed him the end result. They photos were so classy that I showed my mum and she absolutely loved them. Julie, aged 51: I was really nervous about having these photographs done. My husband had been on at me for years to take some himself but I was always worried I would end up looking like ‘readers wives’!! So I made my mind up to surprise him and have some professionally and tastefully done – I was still worried about my cellulite and big nose, thin lips and small eyes – but I needn’t have been….. Not only did Gaynor put me at my ease, but she gave me the confidence I needed to believe I could look good. It was a really fun session. My husband (and I) are very proud of the results – and I can’t quite believe they are me!!


Rebecca: "I wanted to give my boyfriend something different, special, sentimental and memorable for his 30th b'day and a friend suggested the idea of personal photographs.
As I'd never had any professional pictures taken before I didn't really know what to expect and I was a tad nervous - Gaynor made me feel so relaxed and comfortable, she gave me lots of ideas so every picture was different from the other, it was so much fun - I had an absolutely brilliant day!! My boyfriend was speechless and that doesn't happen often! He said he never thought I would have done that for him - he even keeps it underneath his mattress! - thank you, thank you, thank you Gaynor! x


Jo had an album for a Christmas present:
Naturally I had reservations, convinced that having photos taken in my underwear would be embarrassing, but when I first met Gaynor she instantly put me at ease, being very friendly and chatty. She guided me through a portfolio of photos from which I chose poses I liked, all the while listening intently and making helpful suggestions. On the day of the photo shoot I had my hair and makeup done, which was amazing and an absolute must. I had so much fun doing the photos and to my surprise did not feel the least bit nervous, all thanks to Gaynor.
The whole experience made me feel beautiful and confident, and above all the photos were so professional – so much attention paid to detail. I think this is something every woman should do in their lifetime!


Hilary purchased an album just to treat herself.
I looked at a number of boudoir websites before choosing Grin & Bare It. I choose this one because I thought the photographs looked so classy compared to others. I have liked the idea of these photos for as long as I can remember, but it took all my courage just to make the call to Gaynor to enquire. Gaynor immediately put me at my ease and I made a booking there and then. We met first to discuss the style of images I’d like to end up with and being a size 18, I was insistent that I wouldn’t get completely naked, but on the day, I had so much more confidence than I thought I would and my very favourite shot is one where I am completely naked other than a hat! Gaynor has an amazing way of making you feel very relaxed about it all and I very much enjoyed our session. I absolutely love my photos!
